IRDRs (Inventory Discrepancy Research Reports) are Amazon’s mechanism for SOX-compliant inventory accuracy — every count mismatch must be investigated, root-caused, and documented to satisfy Sarbanes-Oxley financial controls. Built on top of 1,000+ hand-researched IRDRs in IRDR_Research_Data.tsv, this agent reproduces the full investigation loop a human analyst follows:
- Plan — read the cycle-count event and decide which signals to fetch.
- Gather — pull deviation logs, container history, and stower/scanner records via internal tools.
- Synthesize — write a synopsis identifying the path, area, and root error (Stow / Pick / Pack / Transship / Multi-scan / etc.).
- Submit — file the IRDR with the same structure managers expect.
